Hey, I'm Taylor.
I help founders grow their companies to $10M+ in annual sales while building a thriving company culture along the way.As a founder & CEO, I grew my last company Blueboard from nothing to $40M+ in annual sales while winning numerous awards for product excellence and company culture.

My Background
I spent the last 10 years building and scaling an HR technology company called Blueboard, but have also run a jewelry company (e-commerce) and spent time in management consulting (Accenture). As cofounder & CEO of Blueboard, we raised over $25M from top-tier investors, served over 500 clients (including top tier names like Crowdstrike, Mercedes Benz and Salesforce), and achieved multiple years of $40M+ in annual sales. We were named the Next Great HR Technology in 2018 and Fortune's #88 Best Place to Work in 2021.Along my entrepreneurial adventure, I've learned that I love building & advising mission-oriented startups and helping founders achieve their business goals while finding personal fulfillment along the way.Fun fact: before I graduated UC Berkeley Engineering, I had already started an exterior painting company with over $100K in annual sales.

👀 You found an easter egg - Petalheads Music
In his "spare" time, Taylor produces music and mixes with his childhood friend, Andy Johnston, under the stage name Petalheads.Their sound ranges from melodic to tropical to deep house, sometimes even dipping into tech-house if the mood strikes them. They often collaborate with Sacramento-based EDM producer KONG, as well as Bay Area-based guitar player Sammy G.Below you'll find a small sample of songs produced over the years. Enjoy!
Kanye West - I Love Kanye (Petalheads Tech House Remix)
I started to get more into tech house as a genre after going to Dirty Bird Campout for the first time in 2022. This song channels Dirty Bird energy, especially Walker & Royce. The sampled lyrics are the most Kanye thing ever - a clever skit from his Life of Pablo album in 2016. Enjoy!
Lift Off (Petalheads Live Mix)
We made Lift Off in the spirit of ascension. It offers a slow build to match your initial energy heading into an activity, workout or any journey. By the time you've reached the top, the music is right there with you, and then you realize it's been there every step of the way.
Petalheads ft. Sammy G
Sweet Tooth
Sammy G jumps on this light, playful piano motif and layers on a number of electric guitar riffs with his loop pedal. The song continues to build up until the third minute, where the end result is a song that blends euphoric Avicii chords with the wailing guitar solos of Ratatat.
Vanessa Carlton - A Thousand Miles (Petalheads Club Remix)
The original version of this song is iconic and brings me back to middle school when I used to take piano lessons. Today, I still hear it played everywhere - in malls, in restaurants, in casinos...but I had never heard a more up-tempo, house-music version. So I decided to create my own!
